We're a PC site, but we're not exclusively a PC site, you know. So, just to make sure our little console brethren get a fair say in the matter we're also giving you a chance to say what you think the best console games were this year.

Below you can vote for three of the best games of the year and it's the same deal as before - sign up to the newsletter to be eligible to vote, though you don't have to worry about spam or anything like that. We keep all your details confidential and you can even opt to never receive the newsletter, if you want. We promise it is worth reading though.

So, who will you give your vote to? Do you favour the indie stylings of the Xbox 360 exclusive, Braid or do you favour the player-created content of LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation 3? Do you admire the story and pacing of Gears of War 2, or are you more interested in the open and free-roaming world of Fallout 3?

Whatever you decide make sure you vote quickly - voting will close at 9am GMT on December 22nd 2008 and we'll be detailing the winners shortly after that, so you don't have a huge amount of time to fit your voting in between Christmas shopping and reading the rest of our awesome games content.

As always we're interested in hearing back from you all as well, so if you want to tell us why you voted for who (or if you want to nag us that your favourite game isn't on the list) then be sure to do so in the forums.
